Sefton Youth Service
If you
are aged 13-19 years (or up to 25 years if disabled), you can enjoy
a wide range of fun, adventurous and fulfulling projects to put
your own stamp on.
Sefton Youth Service wants you to be:
- Empowered to improve your life chances.
- Educated through informal education programmes and
activities.
- Aware of equal opportunities for everyone regardless of gender,
race, sexuality or ability.
- Safe, in our facilities where you can meet friends, socialise,
learn and have fun.
At Sefton Youth Service we want youth centres and other settings
to feel like they belong to you. Our sessions give you a safe place
to hang out with friends and take part in fun activities where you
can learn loads of useful stuff along the way.
Our detached youth work team meet you on your own patch, on your
own terms. If you have some great ideas for stuff to do in your
neighbourhood then get in touch & we'll do our best to make
those ideas happen.
We know young people have bright minds, tonnes of passion and
plenty to say! We give you chances to speak up and have a voice on
the issues affecting you. Get involved!
Our youth workers support you with your problems before they
become serious. Whether you need help with learning or have worries
about sex, drugs, alcohol, violence or simply finding work when you
leave school, we're here to listen, advise and help.
The Duke of Edinburgh's Award gives you the chance to build your
skills for work and life, fulfill your potential and have a
brighter future whilst having great fun & camraderie with other
young people.
Do you watch 'The Apprentice' and think “I can do that!”? Do you
want to make a difference to your local community? Are you aged
13-19? Then our youth enterprise scheme is for you!
If you are aged 13-16 and lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender
or questioning your sexuality, the New Beginnings group is a space
where you can meet other LGBT young people in a safe
environment.
