Road safety
The safety of Sefton's residents and visitors is of paramount
importance and we have a team of dedicated officers whose main task
is to reduce and prevent road traffic collisions on our
roads.
On average, road traffic collisions within Sefton results in
approximately 1400 casualties each year. In order to reduce these
road traffic collisions, we support the Government's campaigns with
a number of programmes and facilities aimed at educating and
