Reporting an abandoned vehicle
If you wish to report a vehicle
which appears to be abandoned, you should contact
Merseyside Police. You can
aslo complete an
Abandoned Vehicle Report form.
They will carry out checks on
the vehicle and if they deem it to be abandoned they will send
details to us. On receipt of such information, we will take the
appropriate action - after 24 hours (if the vehicle is in a
dangerous condition) or up to 15 days in other conditions.
Retrieving an abandoned vehicle
If we have removed your vehicle,
please contact us on the above number.
There may be a fee charged by
the storage facility for storing your vehicle which will be payable
before your car is released.
