has something for everyone, allowing you to discover new
subjects and read the best novels from all over the world, all for
free.
Libraries are also a place to share your reading experiences -
join a reading group or attend one of the many activities and
events taking place in libraries. For the latest news on upcoming

- Find the latest fiction and non-fiction titles in your local
library. To check availability or to reserve an item call in or
access our online catalogue.
- Storytime and Rhymetime - Bring your
child along to Storytime to listen to a story and sing along to
nursery rhymes. These are fun events - children can make as
much noise as they want!

- Multimedia Hire - Music? Films?
- Sefton's libraries stock a wide variety of DVDs and music
CDs.
- The
24 Hour Library - Online Services - Can't make
it down to a library? Sefton Libraries have a number of
online services that can be accessed from any internet-enabled
computer 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Information
- Local History and Heritage - The library
service offers a comprehensive local and family history library
service. This includes free access to the online
resource Ancestry Library Edition in Sefton's
libraries, so you can discover more about your own
heritage.
- Parents' Collection - Most
Sefton Libraries have a collection of books aimed at
parents who need help with everyday issues, such as potty
training and breast feeding.
