The 24 hour library - online services
If you would like to ask a Sefton librarian a question about the
library service or for information, please type it into the message
box in the ‘Ask a Sefton Librarian’ device and click on ‘Send’. On
doing this, you will be able to chat ‘live’ online with one of our
local information specialists during Wednesdays (11am-1.00pm,
2-5.00pm). Enquiries sent in on other week days will go to the
national chat-based service, and enquiries sent after 5.00pm will
be answered by email if you leave your address.
Alongside its 13 branch libraries and Home Visits Service,
Sefton Libraries also offers a number of online services available
24 hours a day, every day.

Enquire - Enquire is a live question and answer service
available 24 hours a day. It works like instant messaging or a chat
room, allowing you to put questions directly to trained library
staff who can help you, just as you would if you were talking to
them face-to-face or on the telephone. Best of all the service is
free and anyone can use it.
