The 24 hour library - online services
If you would like to ask a Sefton librarian a question about the
library service or for information, please type it into the message
box in the ‘Ask a Sefton Librarian’ device and click on ‘Send’. On
doing this, you will be able to chat ‘live’ online with one of our
local information specialists during Wednesdays. Enquiries sent in
on other week days will go to the national chat-based service, and
enquiries sent after 5.00pm will be answered by email if you leave
Alongside its 13 branch libraries and Home Visits Service,
Sefton Libraries also offers a number of online services available
24 hours a day, every day.
Enquire - Enquire is a live question and answer service
available 24 hours a day. It works like instant messaging or a chat
room, allowing you to put questions directly to trained library
staff who can help you, just as you would if you were talking to
them face-to-face or on the telephone. Best of all the service is
free and anyone can use it.
