Licensing Act public notices

Under the Licensing Act 2003 applications concerning the grant or variation of a premises licence or club premises certificate, or the grant of a provisional statement are subject to the publication of a notice on the premises and in a local newspaper by the applicant.

Notice is hereby given that Mr Kanabathipillai Kirushnarajan of Sandbrook Food and Wine, 154 Sandbrook Road, Ainsdale PR8 3RJ has applied to Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council for a Variation of a Premise Licence.

The terms of which being as follows:

To extend the current hours for the Sale of Alcohol and the Premises Opening Hours:

Currently: From  08.00 to 22.00 hours each day – Monday to Sunday

Proposed: From  06.00 to 23.00 hours each day – Monday to Sunday

The terms of which being as follows:

  1. To alter the existing approved layout and include an external licensed area.
  2. As a result of the above request it is requested that the condition which currently reads: "Customers should be requested not to take alcohol from the premises in open vessels" be amended so that if the application is granted it will read as: "Customers shall be requested not to take alcohol from the premises in open vessels save for consumption in the external licensed area as approved by the Licensing Authority and shown on the plans deposited with the Licensing Authority"
  3. To extend the terminal hour for the sale of alcohol and all other licensable activities on New Year's Eve so that the terminal hour for licensable activities will be 01.00 the following morning.
