ESF Ways to Work
The European Social Fund and Youth Employment Initiative-funded Ways to Work programme, in partnership with the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority and all six Local Authorities in Merseyside, has positively impacted the Sefton community from January 2016 to September 2023. Sefton@Work provided comprehensive job search assistance, skill development programmes, paid placements, mental health support, and online support services. Over 5,000 residents from all over Sefton enrolled in the programme, which empowered individuals, strengthened communities, and instilled hope. The legacy of the project will continue through new funding and build upon its success.
