Stepometer challenge

 What is the Stepometer Challenge?

The Active Workforce Stepometer Challenge is a great way to encourage employees to increase their physical activity. Teams take part by wearing pedometers to record every step they take, competing to see who can top the leader board with the most steps.

We recommend that you set yourself an individual target of 10,000 steps per day which may sound a lot but you'll be hitting that target in no time! Sometimes overlooked as a form of exercise, walking can help you build stamina, burn excess calories and give you a stronger, healthier heart.

Stepometer Challenge 2019

Well done to everyone who completed this 6 week Stepometer Challenge.  We understand it’s not easy to keep up your motivation for 6 whole weeks.  You have all done great, we hope you will keep on trying to improve your step count and in turn increase your physical activity 😊

A big congratulations to Manic Street Pacers on winning the team challenge with a massive step count of 3,868,148 also well done to Tim Riding on topping the individual table with a close fought out challenge with Stuart.
