Members of the public are being invited to join in the celebrations for the Grand re-Opening of Strand By Me from 1pm to 3pm on Friday 31^st January.

Community health and wellbeing hub

Located in the Strand shopping centre, Strand By Me, is a community health and wellbeing hub that’s at the heart of Bootle. From the end-of-January re-opening date, it will be in its new location in The Strand.

People joining the celebrations on Friday 31^st January will also be able to enjoy family-friendly activities, including pedal-powered refreshments the Smoothie Bike. Plus, there will be free health checks and advice for carers.

Partnership

Open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, Strand By Me is managed by Living Well Sefton in partnership with Sefton Council and Sefton CVS. The afternoon of events on Friday 31^st will follow an official opening where invited guests will be able to see the new location.

The Strand By Me team can point visitors to a wide range of support and services including fitness and wellbeing advice help to quit smoking and support with loneliness, isolation  and bereavement and IT learning sessions.
