Scheduled bin collection dates over the Christmas & New Year period
17 December 2024 3 min read
Each year, Sefton Council provides restricted services over the Christmas and New Year period. Most council buildings will be closed from 4pm on Monday 23rd December, re-opening at 9am on Thursday 2nd January.
As a result, waste collection services are reduced with some collections not taking place over the 10-day holiday period. Like last year, the teams that are working will be prioritising grey bin and refuse sack collections.
