Sefton Council has launched the official Business & Resident Toolkit for The 154th Open, providing practical guidance and information for businesses, residents and community organisations ahead of the Championship's return to Royal Birkdale in July 2026.

The toolkit brings together key information in one place, including business readiness advice, customer service guidance, volunteering opportunities, sustainability initiatives and links to official information sources.

The Open represents a significant opportunity for Sefton, with visitors expected from across the UK and around the world. The toolkit has been developed to help local businesses and communities plan ahead, stay informed and make the most of the opportunities associated with hosting this major international event.
