Adult Social Care Coproduction- Working together

Adult Social Care Coproduction- Working together

What is Coproduction?

Co‑production means working in equal partnership with people who draw on care and support, Carers, families and communities to design and improve services together. It is about sharing opinion, listening, valuing lived experience, and making decisions together so services are more effective, person‑centred and meaningful.

What does this mean for Sefton?

We are committed to developing a culture of understanding and supporting co-production. We recognise those that use our services should be involved because of what they know, their lived experience, their ideas and solutions to problems and their unique perspective on what will make a positive difference to them and others.

If we work together, we are more likely to get things right the first time round and build equal, trustworthy relationships with our communities.

Interesting in helping us improve and want to get involved contact us on: Commissioningandcontracts@sefton.gov.uk

Want to know more about Sefton's commitment to coproduction see our Coproduction- Working together webpages.
