Your Local Family Wellbeing Centres

Family is the most important influence on a child's life, from the moment they are born until they reach adulthood and beyond.  

Family Wellbeing Centres provide joined up support for children and young people aged 0-19 years to make family life that little bit easier. 

Support

Family Wellbeing Centres offer support with:

  • Parenting - parents-to-be, new parents/foster parents, behaviour, speech and language.
  • Health - health visitors, mental health, healthy eating, sexual health  
  • Employment - including training, apprenticeships, and volunteering.
  • Education - early learning, attendance, further education, educational attainment
  • Community engagement - social opportunities, events, clubs, activities 
  • Relationships - counselling, loneliness, promoting positive relationships.
  • Welfare - benefits, debt advice, housing support
  • Targeted one to one and group work programmes.

Extra Help

For families that need extra help and support we can meet with you individually to do an assessment of your needs. This is to help us work with you to get the extra support you need, and an Early Help Worker will work alongside your family.

Relax Kids 

Relax Kids group sessions are beneficial for children who may be experiencing anxiety, low self esteem and/ or lack of confidence. Sessions are aimed at 4- 16 years.
