Working together

Inclusive Streets co-production group

We would like to work with you to create more inclusive streets in Sefton. Together we would like to show and talk about our plans and ideas along with yours with people from different:

  • Religions or Beliefs.
  • Race or Ethnicity.
  • Sexual orientations.
  • Parents of young children.
  • People living with a disability.
  • Those with care experience.

Our plans and ideas could include:

  • Our policies - documents which set out what we would like to do in the future.
  • How we are going to do things.
  • The rules our road and street designers follow when making plans for changes.
  • What and where we are going to do things. This could be a new junction, crossing or route for people walking, wheeling, or cycling. It could be plans to look at how people drive and where they park.

We would like to work together to co-produce and co-design. Our working together webpages explain in more detail how we do this in Sefton Council

To help us to do this we would like to bring together a group of people to help us work out how best to do this in a way that works for everyone.

Group meeting

The next group meeting will be on Monday 10th June from 1pm-3pm. We will meet at Ainsdale Lunch and Leisure, Liverpool Road, Southport, PR8 3NQ.

Everyone is welcome to come along, but before you do, please read our group rules below.
