The Southport Eastern Access Improvement Scheme is budgeted to cost £19.97million and is funded by the Liverpool City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement I (CRSTS I), which is aimed to deliver a number of linked transport projects throughout the Liverpool City Region.
This funding is conditional on all the funds being committed by March 2027.
