There are fourteen options currently available and a bespoke service. Schools visit regularly from far and wide and teacher feedback about the hands-on and inspirational learning is very positive.

The Eco Centre has recently re-launched its website and educational visit brochure. The website contains everything teachers would need to know about the topics covered and getting the most out of a visit to the Eco Centre, from risk assessments and directions to activities for groups to use to complement their visit experience.

The Eco Centre teachers have also been involved in project work linked to the ethos of the building, working with a range of partners including The Environment Agency and The Local Sustainable Transport Fund to produce resources for the use of the wider community. Some examples include a flood awareness website and a sustainable transport app. More information about these, and other Eco Centre projects, is available on the website.

Due to their experience with these projects, the Eco Centre teachers are now able to offer their services in project management, event organisation, website and printed media design. Please contact them on 0151 934 2728 or by email

The Eco Centre provides conference facilities in a large, attractive and well equipped meeting room. The room is available for free to community groups. The building is easily accessible by both private and public transport and is disabled-friendly. For more information on making a booking please contact the building attendant on 0151 934 2713 or by email
