Neighbourhood Health Profiles

Sefton is a national pioneer area for the development of neighbourhood health, a key priority of the Governments 10 year health plan.

Sefton has been split into eight neighbourhood areas, four located in the north and four in the south. The neighbourhoods are: Ainsdale, Bootle, Central Southport, Crosby, Formby, Maghull, North Southport and Seaforth & Litherland.

Below are profiles for each neighbourhood. These profiles include demographic, social and public health information to support the identification of local needs and inequalities. The neighbourhoods in these profiles align to the 22 wards in Sefton:

Ainsdale - Ainsdale and Birkdale

Bootle - Linacre and Derby
