Training and Upskilling Staff

Sefton SEN and Inclusion Service offers a comprehensive training package to schools and settings.

Training offers include:  

  • in-school face to face training sessions at the request of the SENDCO/Senior Leadership Team  
  • in-school face to face training sessions offered by individual service providers 
  • direct training to groups of staff across a range of settings, usually based at Sefton’s PDC 
  • virtual sessions provided on request, or as part of shared training offers 
  • recorded training sessions, shared through Team Offers with schools 

SENDCOs and Senior Leaders may also request targeted SEN Surgeries to support teachers in developing further, their good practice.
