This includes the Health Visitor and School Nursing services.
- The aim of the Health Visitor is to support and guide you through the early years of your parenting journey and help you develop a close and loving relationship with your child.
- The School Health team take over form the Health Visitors as a child starts school, with each school having a dedicated School Nurse. The team provides advice, information, and support on all aspects of health and well-being, covering both physical and emotional health.
- Young people aged 11-19 can send a confidential and anonymous message to get advice about health and wellbeing. To start a chat with a school nurse, you can send a message to 07312 263 291.

A free online service for young people struggling with their mental health. All information is confidential, and the service provides lots of support to help with children and young people’s wellbeing.

Rise Up

A free and confidential support for children and young people experiencing issues with drugs/alcohol. The service also offers family support to parents or carer who are worried about the impact of drug or alcohol use on the family.
Sefton CVS
Sefton Voluntary Service provides support for the voluntary, community and faith (VCF) groups. The CVS has developed the Here For You Directory which provides access to over 1,000 voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise organisations where you will find local services that support people in Sefton.
Early Help
Early Help is about taking action as soon as possible to tackle problems for children and families before they can grow into something that is more difficult to overcome. It is about identifying children and families that may be at risk of running into difficulties and providing timely and effective support. Support can also be accessed through the Family Wellbeing Centres
