1-2-1 Programme

1-2-1 Programme

On the 1-2-1 programme we use weekly physical activity or sport sessions to have a positive impact on the young person's health and well-being using Development workers as mentors.  We aim to increase self-esteem, and confidence. The programme is designed to be bespoke to the needs of the individual. 

  • An initial meeting will be held at for the young person (this can held at a Family Health and Well-being centre, School, Library or Leisure centre) the young person must be accompanied by a responsible adult at the initial meeting, which can be a family member or staff member from supporting agency.
  • The meeting is designed to explore the young person’s interests and decide what the most suitable activity programme is for the forthcoming sessions.
  • Sessions will be up to an hour long and held on a weekly basis for a period of 6-12 weeks dependent on the needs and progress of the young people
