Holiday, Activities and Food Programme (HAF)

Holiday Activities and Food Programme

The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme was designed to support children during the school holidays to eat more healthily, be more active and have a greater knowledge of health and nutrition. In Sefton we are working with a range of schools, charities, community organisations and sports providers to create free holiday provision. Fore more information please visit our HAF Padlet.

The programme runs for 1 week during the Easter and Christmas holidays and for 4 weeks during the summer and includes a healthy meal each day.

Who is the programme for?

Young people aged 5-16 years (or 4-year-olds if in reception) and eligible for and receiving benefit related free school meals are eligible to take part in the HAF Programme.

How to access the programme?

If your child is eligible and would like to take part in the programme please contact your school to find out if they are offering a HAF holiday camp. You can also visit this page to find out what HAF camps are running and how to book once they are confirmed.
