Supported and Specialist Accommodation

The Council offers advice on a range of sheltered and supported housing services, and advice on schemes to allow you to remain in your home.

Supported Housing and Housing Related Support
Provided by various support agencies, voluntary organisations and individual landlords throughout the Borough.  Access to this housing is usually by referral from social services or support agencies and will be determined by need. Much of the property referred to as “supported” is part-funded by the Council’s Housing related support program. 

Sefton Careline
Provides Lifeline, Telecare and Telehealth services to over 6,000 adults within the Sefton borough and beyond. With over 35 years' experience in delivering emergency alarm service's, we are ready to respond to any situation 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. 

Disabled Facilities Grants
The Council provides grants that will allow disabled people to remain in their home by adapting your home. For more information please see the adapting your home information.
